I have been a Hautelook member for about a year or so. Hautelook is great website for buying fashionable items at a great price. Although I prefer shopping online, I still have some concerns about online stores, specially when bargains seem too good to be true. In the case of Hautelook, so far so good. On most Sundays, there is always a "Blowout" happening, which is the best time to buy. I purchased the Dolce Vita "Liza" platform wedge for $31 and the pilar abril "Ornella" wedge for $26. These pairs of shoes typically retail over $100 each. I am very pleased with my purchase.  Both pairs arrived in perfect condition and they look great.

ARTLINER Precision Point EyeLiner from LANCÔME Review

My favorite liquid eyeliner at the moment is the ARTLINER Precision Point EyeLiner from LANCÔME.  The color shown above is Noir, which is an intense black.  I am not an expert on using liquid liner, but the foam tip makes the application easy.  It lasts a long time without being waterproof and it's easy to remove.  My only complaint about this product is the price, which is a bit high.

HYPNÔSE DRAMA Instant Full Body Volume Mascara from LANCÔME Review

I have been using HYPNÔSE DRAMA Instant Full Body Volume Mascara from LANCÔME for about a month and I really like it.  As the name suggests, this mascara does add some volume to my lashes.  The color is very black and glossy.  I have not experience any clumps and I can wear it for about 10 hours without flaking or smudging.  I only wish this mascara gave some curl to my lashes.  I use an eyelash curler prior using, but the curl is doesn't hold well.

NARS Laguna Body Illuminator Review

I have never been a fan of shimmery stuff all over my body, but NARS Laguna Body Illuminator is the exception.  The consistency is creamy and very shimmery and the smell is divine.  I love wearing it on the legs.  It looks so pretty when the the light hits the shimmer!   I recommend exfoliating your skin and moisturizing it before applaying NARS Laguna Body Illuminator.  If you find the shade is too dark for your skin, mix it with your favorite body lotion to create the perfect shimmer effect.  Allow some time to dry on your skin before putting on your clothes, otherwise it might stain your clothes.

Private Dancer Nail Polish from deborah lippmann Review

"Private Dancer" nail polish from Deborah Lippmann is suppose to be an ultra violet "mirrored chromed" polish that changes color depending on the light angle.  The purple color is very metallic and it does changed color at different light angles looking a bit on bronze side.  The formula is thin but very easy to use.  It glides on the nails and only two coats are needed to achieve full coverage.  I only used a base coat with this color and it lasted 6 days without chipping.

Nail Foundation Flawless Basecoat from butter LONDON Review

I had a few issues with polishes staining my fingernails.  So, I decided to try the Nail Foundation Flawless Basecoat from butter LONDON.  I was intrigued by the color of this base coat.  Most of the base coats I have seen are clear.  This particular base coat looks like a makeup foundation you would wear on the face.  The finish is matte and very smooth.  According to the bottle, "Matte results so beautiful, you can wear it alone."  I did exactly that.  I put one coat and lasted 5 days.  Around the fifth day, the base coat started to chip around the nail looking a bit white.  I also tried with another bright polish on top and it lasted 6 days and prevented my fingernails from getting stained.

NARS Trouville Nail Polish Review

Trouville Nail Polish is a part of the NARS Summer 2012 Color Collection.  It's a beautiful glossy pink shade.  I tried it without a base coat and without a top coat.  Two coats were necessary to achieve true to bottle color and lasted 5 days on my nails.

NARS Night Breed Nail Polish Review

I recently purchased Night Breed Nail Polish from NARS Limited Edition "Night Series."
According to the website, NARS's nail polishes should be long-wearing and chip-resistant.  Night Breed has a lots of beautiful silver glitter, which makes the texture a bit rough. It took 2 coats to achived a true to bottle color.  Unfortunately, this polish lasted only 3 days without a base coat and without a top coat.  Since the base color is black, I recommend using a base coat.  I did not and I ended up with stained nails.
