NARS Montenegro Cream Blush Review

NARS Montenegro Cream Blush

I purchased the NARS Cream Blush in Montenegro a while back during a sale. The retail price of this blush is $29. I paid about $20 for this product. The shade is described as a "rich mahogany" and it looks to me that it has a very small amount of shimmer. The blush looks intimidating in the pan, but the color is pretty when applied lightly on the cheeks. The texture is nice and creamy without feeling oily. I noticed that the blush started to fade after 4 hours of wear, which is not so great. Overall, I liked the texture and the color payoff of this blush.

YSL La Laque Couture No. 1 Rouge Pop Art Review

YSL La Laque No. 1 Rouge Pop Art

No.1 Rouge Pop Art is one of the colors included in the YSL La Laque Trio Gift Set. This shade is a glossy orangy red with no shimmer. The nail polish lasted over 5 days with a base coat. I did not experience any chipping, only some minor wear on the tips of my nails. I applied 2 coats to achieve full coverage. The formula applied smoothly with no streaks and it dried fast. The set includes 3 full-size nail polishes (0.34 Fl. Oz (10 mL each)) and retails for $60. As far as I know, this set is only available online. The YSL nail polishes retail for $25 and this particular shade can be purchased separately. I like the packaging and the brush of this polish.

Suqqu Eyeshadow Brush M Review

Suqqu Eyeshadow Brush M

While at Selfridges, I also picked up the Suqqu Eyeshadow Brush M. This brush is also 100% natural hair according to suqqu.com. The length of this brush is about 13.5 cm and retails for £48 (77 USD). The tip of the brush is round and slightly tapered. It can be used for applying color all over the eyelid or it can be used for blending the color. I really like the softness of this brush and it's versatility.

Suqqu Face Brush Review

Suqqu Face Brush

I love makeup brushes and when I was in London I went Selfridges and purchased the Suqqu Face Brush. This brush is the most expensive makeup brush I own, with a price tag of £168 (about 270 USD). There aren't many detail listed on the box this brush came in except that it is made in Japan. The bristles are 100% squirrel according to suqqu.com and they are very dense (almost feels like a whole squirrel worth of hair went into one brush). The length of the brush is about 17 cm. This brush is beyond soft. It picks up fine milled products so well and applies them evenly. I really like this brush a lot and I would give it a 5/5, but the price is so high.
